No artificial flavors in ketchup??!!

High fructose corn syrup is made from GMO corn which is artificial. Your bottle says no artificial flavors or colors. SO !?

Burman's Mayo changed their recipe and not for the better

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Over a year ago it became clear to me that Hellmann's mayo had changed their recipe after many decades, so I was on the hunt for a replacement. Burman's was recommended by my sister, and it was frankly AMAZING!

It was exactly what Hellmann's used to be. Top quality and delicious, not to mention significantly less expensive.

I was so upset with Hellmann's that I felt as if I had WON something in finding Burman's. In December 2023 I resupplied my Burman's stock, but only had occasion to open one of the new jars last week. The taste difference was immediately apparent.

It was not tangy or flavorful, and had a very unnaturally thick consistency.

Frankly, it was gross. It doesn't taste good on sandwiches, and it's so unusually thick that you can't tell when you've put too much in when making egg salad. It's freaking bizarre. But most importantly, it's awful and extremely disappointing b/c I thought I had found my permanent replacement for Hellmann's.

So here I am, back on the hunt for yet another brand of Mayo.

I have two unopened jars of Burman's that I need to donate to a food pantry, with my regrets for the people who will end up having to eat this crap. Advice to food companies: Stop messing with products that are WORKING.

Charge more if you have to. But stop treating your customers as if they are idiots by changing the formulas in the hope that no one will notice or care..

Watered down salad dressing, I was afraid to use it, I could pour it out of the jar. If you remake the product I will try again.

The "new" Burmans' Mayo

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been a BIG fan of the Burman's Mayonnaise ands have shared this product with anyone who would listen. They have recently changed their recipe (beware of the shorter jars).

My first purchase of the shorter jar I thought the ingredients had gone bad and threw it away. I made the 2nd purchase and realized it was the new product. It has this terrible "cafeteria" taste, like it sat out on the counter too long. Despite this initial taste difference, I was committed to give it a try.

I have ruined ALL of my Thanksgiving dishes that required mayo and most importantly the leftover turkey sandwiches. The mayo congeals in a lumpy way and separates in the salad.

And the taste is just unsatisfactory. I will be going to the store today to buy Hellmans!

I agree. I noticed the change in taste right away.

When I looked at the ingredients list versus the list on the jar I was just finishing up they had obviously skimped on the eggs resulting in a heavy, greasy taste. So disappointed.

Get it fixed Aldi. ###

Whipping dressing

Burmans - Whipping dressing
Tastes of mild, pleasant, horseradish. I think the company should put on label that it's is mild horseradish flavor.

I ONLY eat Miracle Whip and NOTHING else. I went to Alidi and they slipped a fast one on their customers and switched it out to Burman's, same spot and price. NOT HAPPY!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Aldi is trying to fool the people by putting Burmans in the exact same place as Miriacle Whip has been for the past 10 years. They even raised the price to $5.50!!! I do not like Horse Radish and am fuming mad at the switch!! I only eat Miracle Whip!! I hate stores that try to trick people. I love Aldi, but, this switch really makes me mad!!

Odd taste to Burmans Whipped Dressing on

We I have bought many Burmans products from Aldis before and liked them. We bought a Burmans whipped dressing And it taste strong of horseradish. I checked the ingredients and it doesnt list anything to do with horseradish. Im not sure if its a bad batch or if its supposed to taste that way. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this product?

Yes, we have bought it many times in the past and are hoping it goes back to the original flavor. I will only give it one more chance with this flavor before I skip it, unfortunately. It is just too nasty.

Felissa Bir

I agree it tastes more like horseradish than whipped dressing. I like it on sandwiches but not sure if want to try it in anything else

Bronte Iou

I can't agree more with this I used it to make broccoli salad my slaw dressing and it threw off the flavor completely hopefully my family still eats it

Same thing, and over more than one "best by" date. Switching to Walmart, I guess.

Love the mustard, I hate the cap!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
While I use only Burmans Traditional mustard (on nearly everything!), messing with that cap is a nuisance. It's very hard to open sometimes, and when it opens, there's a big mess in the cap. You need to put a similar cap to French's! I am tempted not to buy it when I have to put up with that cap! Thanks for listening.

  • Great mustard and price

I need to know if there is garlic in the Burman's chili sauce. My grandson is allergic to garlic. Ingredients just list "spices". Is garlic included in that?

I was a Hellman's devotee. Solid.

Then I tried Berman's. Haven't had Hellman's since.
